නතර වීමි මං-සන් පුවරුව අබියස
දැල්වී ඇත එමත ලෝහිත එළිය
ඔබ ඇවිත් නතර විය මා පසෙකින්
දිටිමි මම ඔබ - දුටුවෙහිය ඔබ, මා

බසිනු නොහැක ඔබ, ඔබ රියෙන්
නොමැත අසුනක් මා රියෙහිද
ලෝහිත එළිය දැල්වේද සදා කල්
නැතොත් දැල්වේද හරිත එළිය
යනු පිණිස ඔබට,ඔබ මග - මට මා මග

I stopped at the traffic lights
The red light is on
You pulled by my side
I saw you - You saw me
You cannot get out of your car
nor I have a seat for you
Will the red light on for ever
or, will the green on
for you to go your way, and for me to mine.
